Abandoned

I haven't abandoned you. I've been working on a new design.

But to be honest, what I write here doesn't mean much anymore. Aside from the rare Making of entry or game review, I don't really say anything interesting here anymore. It's been like that for awhile. I consider only a handful of entries I've written in the past year to be interesting.

But I continue anyway. I said I found an answer as to why I write. I didn't mention the reason that day. I write because I design; and a design without content is like a car without wheels. It seems like the wrong reason to continue, but continuing feels like the right thing to do for now.

I think I have Vince Carter syndrome. I've been here for so long that I've grown tired of being here. The people, the weblogs—everything has become boring to me. I know I'm underperforming. I know I can write more interesting stuff. I just don't feel like it.

I really need a change of scenery.
