Background Info

This is my weblog, SEASONS. This is where I get to write about whatever is on my mind and redesign on a whim. The latter happens quite often for a weblog. The name stems from the idea that many events in life are cyclical: ups and downs, personality changes, changes in surroundings and circumstances, epiphanies, moving-ons and leaving-behinds.

I'm currently in my last semester at UC Berkeley. I'm studying Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS), focusing on analog integrated circuits. When I'm not at the lab doing HW (and really, am I ever not?), I'm probably sleeping. During the few times I do have free time, I like to design, play games, listen to music, and have internal monologues. A sampling of the stuff I like can be found to the right.

Technical Details

SEASONS is coded in XML. A set of XSLT stylesheets take that XML and transform it into the XHTML pages you see before you. Layout and presentation is handled with CSS.

Due to rendering differences in browsers, SEASONS is best viewed in Safari and Mozilla (and its derivatives, e.g. FireFox and Camino). Windows IE 6 and Mac IE 5.2 both render SEASONS with slight visual quirks. I have not tested in Win IE 5.5 or coded around its bugs. I have not tested in Opera 7 or older browsers like Netscape 4.
